Despite the fact that the experimental construction center has only been in operation for a short time, it is implementing the first major project called KoNaNos (a comprehensive design of beams made of advanced concrete). A team of people from the Department of Structures led by Ing. Pavlína Matečková, Ph.D. The project partners are ŽPSV a.s. and Institute of Materials Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i. It is a project financed from the European Union funds (Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness, OP EIC). The former is represented by doc. Ing. Vlastimil Bílek, Ph.D. and doc. Ing. Stanislav Seitl
This project is focused on complex design of beams using advanced concrete. Prepared experiments will serve not only solvers, but also verify the maximum possibilities of test presses. Designed and tested beams use high-strength concrete with strength up to 130 MPa in combination with prestressing reinforcement.
In the preparation phase, the contractual research tasks include design optimization of load-bearing elements for clean rooms from an air-conditioning company.
