The content of the final state examination is the defense of the bachelor thesis and a professional discussion over the bachelor thesis related to the topic of the thesis from two thematic areas.
Topics:
1) Compulsory for all students:
- Civil Engineering (builds on courses: Structural Engineering I., Structural Engineering II., Roads, Railway Infrastructure, Fundamentals of Structural Mechanics, Elasticity and Plasticity, Structural Mechanics, Building Materials, Loads of Building Structures, Mechanics of Rocks and Soils, Building Environment.
2) Optional - the student chooses one of the offered topics:
- Concrete and masonry structures (knowledge of principles of designing elements of concrete and masonry structures, relation to the subject: Masonry structures).
- Steel and timber structures (knowledge of design principles of steel and timber structures).
