Laboratory of Building Environment and Building Services
The laboratory of buildings and HVAC is equipped with measuring equipment and instruments, which are designed especially for in-situ measurements in the areas of building thermal technology and building acoustics. The laboratory does not hold an accreditation certificate pursuant to §32a or an authorization pursuant to §83c of Act 258/2000 Coll. For this reason, it offers in practice only informative and orientation measurements of the following quantities:
Informative measurements with calibrated instruments:
- measurement of thermo-technical parameters of indoor environment (temperature and relative humidity),
- measurement of indoor and outdoor noise,
For these measurements we use the following equipment: Ahlborn Almemo data loggers and data loggers, relative humidity and temperature probes, two-channel sound meter Brüel & Kjær 2270 with accessories.
Other orientation measurements:
- contact and non-contact measurement of internal surface temperatures of building structures,
- Measurement of air velocity
- measurement of CO 2 concentration
- measurement of airborne and impact sound insulation in buildings.
Expert opinions, studies:
- Lighting technical studies - assessment of daylight and sunlight of buildings, insolation of outdoor facilities and land, assessment of the effect of the shading of the new building on the existing surrounding buildings.
- Thermal engineering assessments of building structures (according to ČSN 730540-2 / 2011), modeling and assessment of details of building structures (multidimensional heat transfer - 2D, 3D) for stationary and non-stationary conduction of heat and humidity.
