CUTE 2020

The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Development in Civil, Urban and Transportation Engineering 2020

The first Conference on Sustainable Development in Civil, Urban and Transportation Engineering (CUTE) was organized by Ton Duac Thang University (TDTU), Vietnam in April 2016. Then it became the biennial international scientific conference with participation of leading experts in the fields of construction, transportation and urban planning all over the world.

The second International Conference CUTE2018 was co-organized by 6 universities: TDTU, Vietnam; Hasselt University, Belgium; Université Savoie Mont Blanc, France; University of Trieste, Italy; VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland and took place in Vietnam, April 2018.

The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Development in Civil, Urban and Transportation Engineering was the first conference organized in Europe, by VSB – TU Ostrava. It should have been held 14 - 17 April. Due to the pandemic caused by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) it was postponed to October 21 - 23; as the situation remained bleak, the conference took place in the virtual sphere only, using the Google Meet platform.

There were 5 sections organized focusing on Urban Planning, Modern and Sustainable Architecture, Modelling in Mechanics, Modern Buildings and Engineering Constructions, Modern and Renewable Building Materials; 59 proceeding papers were submitted.
